Golf in Kullu
Everybody knows that all golfers are basically addicts. If they do not get their regular golf fix then they tend to lose focus and concentration even if they are in an extremely beautiful place like Kullu. If you are a fisher who has visited the Kullu valley but not fished then you have just lost a wonderful opportunity. The snow sprinkled icy rivers and spring sourced streams and vastly populated by rainbow and brown trout. The best thing about the fishing locations is that they are exquisite and peaceful so that the entire fishing experience takes on a new meaning. On an average a 1.5 lbs trout is a good catch but if you really get lucky then you might catch 3-5 pounds one. There are multiple hatcheries around so angling is a great delight in the streams of Kullu valley. Most fishermen recommend using dry flies while fishing in Kullu.
Rates for Fishing: Rod and Lines for Trout Water is Rs. 100/day whereas for the general water the rate for the rods and lines is Rs. 40/day.
Closed Seasons: The Trout water closes in November and opens in February whereas the general water closes on 1st June and opens on 31st July. This is same for every year.
